Snowdrops at Walsingham – a photographic wander…

Bright sunshine led us to Walsingham Abbey on Sunday afternoon. Trailing through the trees and lighting up the snowdrops with its warmth. Aconites with their bright yellow, reflecting it back.

Every now and then you think you are actually walking through snow, the carpet of white tricks the eye.

Snowdrops are such perfect little flowers, a wonder of Mother Nature. Set against old stone walls, fallen logs, moss and trees, there are plenty of backdrops to photograph them against.
